Local Attorney Kim Russell Launches Campaign for Justice of the Peace

College Station, TX – Kim Russell, a respected attorney, mother, and community volunteer, announced her candidacy for Brazos County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3. With a background in law and a long record of service to local schools, families, and civic organizations, Russell is running as a conservative committed to fairness, accountability, and protecting the values of Brazos County.

“I want to thank Judge Rick Hill for his many years of service and the example he sets of being accessible, responsive, and fair,” Russell said. “I’m committed to continuing that legacy while bringing my own dedication to serving the people of Brazos County with honesty and common sense.”

Russell graduated from A&M Consolidated High School, after spending two years at Texas A&M she went on to finish her bachelor’s degree from Texas State University, and her law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston. She practiced real estate and business law at The Ellison Firm in College Station.

For more than a decade, Russell has been active in the community, serving as President and Vice President of the Pebble Creek Elementary PTO, co-founding Panthers Helping Panthers to provide school supplies for children in need, and member of the National Charity League which promotes service and leadership while fostering the mother-daughter relationship.

“As Justice of the Peace, my goal will be to make sure the court is open, fair, and efficient,” Russell said. “I’ll give consistent rulings, uphold the law, and still remember that people deserve to be treated with respect. I believe in personal responsibility, and I also believe one mistake shouldn’t ruin a young person’s future. Most importantly, Brazos County must continue to ensure our courts are led by fair-minded judges, not activists with an agenda.”
